This exhibit features five manuscripts that have made their way to the University of Notre Dame.

Tech Tips, Tools, and IT Maintenance

Canvas Tip: Is Your Canvas Course Ready for Students?
Once you’ve created a home page, posted readings, and created assignments, there’s one more step to making the site visible to students: publishing the course site. Students will not receive communication from your site until it is published.

Canvas Tip: Reuse a Previous Semester’s Content in Canvas
Instructors don’t need to recreate a course from scratch, or export files then import back into Canvas, in order to reuse content and structure for the new semester. Canvas’s Import feature handles the move quickly and allows faculty to select which items to keep and which to remove.

Move-In Waste Bins on Campus
Move-in season is here. Temporary waste containers will be available outside of residence halls starting Monday, August 11, to collect cardboard separately from other materials. Help Notre Dame continue to improve waste diversion rates by informing your residents not to put anything in a waste container unless they know where it’s going. Look for dumpsters labeled “cardboard” to recycle properly and dispose of other materials in accordance with their signage. Single-stream recycling, such as plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and paper, should continue to be placed in recycling toters available throughout campus buildings. If you need items like old furniture removed, submit a work order request using the Surplus tile.
To learn more about Notre Dame's move-in processes, visit green.nd.edu/move-in.
